Genre, please...

Hello All. I would like to ask a favor for anyone who may be inclined to help me out. I am trying to help my son, Kristofer, market his music but I don't know anything about genres, so I thought I would ask the group (all of whom have more experience in music than me) to advise on what genres his music would pertain to best. I was thinking alt/indie, trailers, films etc. I don't think it is pop. Here is a link to his stuff on Spotify:

There's an audience for everything nowadays. I see he has a Spotify account. Does he promote his playlist on any social media? That's a great way to get feedback and exposure. I've been a member of TAXI since last year and haven't seen any listings for specifically this type of music.
