Please submit modern Alternative Rock Instrumentals with great energy and a captivating sound that could work well for advertising and commercial placements! Your submissions should have engaging rhythms, infectious motifs, great production, solid musicianship, dynamic arrangements with forward development, and be mainstream enough to stay accessible to a fairly broad audience - you'd be wise to avoid anything too dark or aggressive here! Instrumentation that's in the general ballpark of the references will work best (electric guitar, bass, drums, etc.). Please make sure any virtual instruments or samples you use are high quality and not dated-sounding. Hi! I'm working on the same listing at the moment so I was very curious to hear what you are doing. To my ears it sounds like you are on a different genre a bit. Your track sounds more like garage rock or Hellacopters style action rock or whatever it's called. BUT if you added a bit of twinkly clean guitar with loads of reverb it might take a turn more towarrds the references. Maybe write a topline melody (which you seem to be missing) with that sound? I hear synths in those references too. These are just my two cents and please remember, they come from a Taxi noob!

Tommy, it's cool, but in my opinion it's a bit more rock-oriented than the references.
Try adjusting the guitar and drum sounds to be closer to the third reference.
