Home Studio Tour - my work space since 2019

Post by VanderBoegh » Tue Jun 17, 2025 9:04 am

I made this video a while ago, and it finally dawned on me this morning that I should post it to this area of the forums. Here's a little video tour of my amazing studio, lol. It ain't much, and it ain't fancy (and I surely don't have any of those soft purple / pink mood lights), but it gets the job done for me. Lotta sunlight, a big monitor, and a multi-angled ceiling make this an idea space for me to work. This should show you all that you don't need anything too terribly fancy to make a sh&t-load of music and turn this hobby / passion into a lucrative career!!

I've been in this house for over 5 years now, and it's a heck of an upgrade from my previous "shed studio" that I built in my backyard. I posted that studio to this forum here too, many years ago. The pictures are all gone now (bummer), but here's that thread from 2017: the-shed-my-multi-million-dollar-yeah-r ... 39179.html

Thanks guys! Yeah, this is a nice house, and has given me a great home studio for the past 5.5 years. It's not a mansion, but it's big enough. At least, until I build the gigantic 10,000 sq ft dream house. Should just be another couple of quarters now

And yeah, Casey, that name placard is for those times when I get scam phone calls, and they say "Is this Matthew Vander Burrgghuh....", and I look at my name all spelled out properly, and say to myself, "is that how I'm supposed to pronounce my name?"
