Hey Dean,
To my ears the vocal is "just at that level" where it floats between audibility and being behind. I'm not an adherent to LCR mixing, but you may be able to get away with the vocal at its current level by mixing the competing instruments hard right and left. Otherwise, the vox has to come up in the mix. I think that's what the screener was hinting at?

Thank you Alan. Extra ears and opinions are very helpful on this one. And bringing up the vocal level is easy to try.AlanHall wrote: ↑Mon Jul 07, 2025 3:44 pmHey Dean,
