Thank you for nice rejection feedback!

Post by CRoberts » Fri Jul 11, 2025 7:05 am

Hi. I'm really feeling good about the feedback I got on my song "Keep Me Whole". It is actionable and included compliments! :)
It's this kind of feedback that keeps me going. Thank you to my screener. And I will apply this to the next one.

This is my tune "Keep Me Whole"

And here are the comments
What I like most about this song
is that you have a fantastic voice and did a great job on the story and structure. Nice work Chrissy.

I think you could improve this song by
creating a more obvious lift in the choruses vocally and musically.

I returned or forwarded this song because
the choruses sounded too much like the verses to be as catchy or create the kind of memorable hooks that were requested.

Nice one, I think your current chorus could act as a great pre-chorus.

Nice song Chrissy!

As you know I have no clue about songwriting but as far as musically I agree with the screener on "lift the the chorus".

Nice to see you on the forum too!!

Beautiful song, Chrissy! :D This may work for sync without changing a thing. It has wonderful emotion and would work behind many scenes. Not all sync songs need a killer chorus. You repeat the title, "keep me whole" which keeps it strong. I'd pitch it to some good music libraries.

Keep in mind that Taxi listing rejections are relative to the particular listing. You submitted to a listing which requested great choruses.

Best,
:) Casey
