Hi Bradley,
The listing link just shows the listings page so I can't see what they're asking for, but wow that's a great sound! I don't know whether its Mastering.com TRE or just natural progression of your talent but I really like the end result.
Just a few subjective thoughts..
- I'm not sure whether it needs the ADT effect on the lead vocal.
- I think I'd have preferred a hint more reverb/delay left on the final vocal line.
- Is there a rogue bass note at 1:06, or is it an intended suspension? Its an otherwise flawless track in my opinion though.
Best of luck with this one.

Re: 80's cover
For some reason - this has me thinking of Rod Stewart covering this.
Whatever - I like your take on it. Good luck with the pitch.

Re: 80's cover
I can totally hear it being placed AND if there's a Deadpool Four? It's featured in the third act. Totally awesome.

1.) On the fence with that as well.... good call
2.) Drying up all of the effects on the vocal at the very end is intentional, but maybe it doesn't work for sync?? Let me know
3.) I will definitely check that out, thanks!
And yes, I owe everything to TRE/Mastering.com. 100% game changer for me, and I am still at it!

Yo BRAD!!! Dude, this is AWESOME!!! I just sat back and smiled as this thing rocked along, and imagined myself watching this on the glory days of MTV right after a Slaughter or Skid Row song.
Man.... I'm gonna hafta hit you up for that singer's email at some point. His voice always hits me in the sweet spot, and I'd love to put him to work on something at some point.
Now, lil' nitpick if you still have a chance to tweak the mix? Might not be a big issue, so don't stress it too much. BUT, when the real rockin' stuff starts, it seems like the energy isn't as elevated as it should be. I think that might be because your hi-hats are kinda buried, and without being able to hear those driving 8ths clearly, we lose the energy. Maybe juice up the hats a tad in the mix? You might also consider adding a tambourine doing 8ths or 16ths in those parts, which will REALLY amp up the energy.
Thanks for sharing!

Re: 80's cover
Great ears Graham - I didn't hear that bass note at 1:06 the first time through. I can hear that stuff only on my own music (after repeated listenings)... shows that there's always more to learn... But yeah, now that I hear it, I wonder.... sounds like the chord is a sus but the bass doesn't quite land on it maybe???BradleyHagen wrote: ↑Wed Aug 27, 2025 8:51 amHey Graham! Brad - In terms of the last lyric drying up... part of me feels that it makes it ultra modern at the end... like

This is another great track man! And I have to admit, this is one of my favorite songs as a kid. Beaches was one of those movies I rented from Blockbuster and watched alone (my parents and brother wouldn't be caught dead watching that type of movie - no action

Bravo!
