Good evening. I read your post about a lyricist for country music. I have been the lyricist on a couple of country songs. I would be interesting in seeing if we could do something together. Thanks.

Good Afternoon

I'm enclosing some recent lyrics, I hope you'll find them compatible with what you're looking for. I am interested in a collaboration, collaborating with a few local musicians now with some good results and some pretty disappointing ones as well. I have been writing for about 7 years now with some published recognition. A good fit is very important to me, that being said, willing to work collaboratively and rewrite what isn't working and listen to input. I would like to determine a working agreement up front to insure a safe and viable working partnership for us both.

The following exert was published in American Songwriter magazine in May of 2021 from my original work "Remembered"...

Off by yourself in
A wood all alone.
No one to mourn,
Cry over your bones.

Memories lost but for
A brief line of prose.
An ancient, grey hymnal,
Songs undisclosed.

The following is something unpublished and recent from "Gas Station Girl"

I wish you'd stop and listen
To what I have to say.
Come out from behind that counter
In my loving arms to stay.

Leave behind the night shift
And that hotdog warmer thing.
There's so much more to livin'
Than countin' out the right change.

I appreciate your time in reviewing this and hope to hear back from you.

I would be interested. I mainly write pop, rock and EDM but I'd be down to give it a go.

Hi there Wanderlvst,
would love to begin a conversation to forward some lyrics for collaboration, should my content be worthy of your standards.

Do kindly check my Bio & tracks on my Taxi Profile Page to understand my interest in your post.

Merry Christmas to you and all your family.

🙏🏽 Cheers,

Hello,
Are you looking for a modern twist on country music or are you looking at more ‘traditional’ ideas.
I have penned a few lyrics in both camps.
If you would like to see them please let me know.

Roadsign,

Your post is seven years old. I assume that you're not in this community anymore because this post was your only post. I'm a songwriter who travels to Nashville a couple times a year for co-writing. Check me out at 316Music.com

Just a lurker following up - it's good, in my opinion, that you noticed the age of the original post of this thread.
Too often folks forget to check how current the search & request is.
ALSO - more likely to find this kind of thread on the COLLABORATION CORNER board on these forums.

I took notice of this post since it has "Country" in the subject - a genre I like to write & produce;
with help from Nashville studio pros for instrument tracks for stuff I beyond what I can do on my own.

Hope that helps; Cheers.
