Happy Fun for me, too!

Post by djbobm » Tue Feb 17, 2009 10:10 am

This is the first time I've posted one of my forwards. I hope this link works. It has been great to listen to all the other "FUN" forwards. They are all so different but really good. Nice job everyone.http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... am=trueBob

Hey Bob, really nice piece! It put a smile on my face for sure. And obviously, since I heard it, the stream worked. How did you get it to stream like that? I had a hell of a time trying and never figured it out.Damian

Thanks everyone for listening. Damian,This was posted a while back by Derek who replied to Bob. (It is a different Bob but I’ll take credit anyway.) I typed my numbers in place of the xxxxxxx but for some reason, even though I could see my numbers, the underlying x’s were read by the computer so it didn’t work. I typed the entire link out and it worked. Make sure to check the link before you post it. I listened to you music on your website...cool stuff. Let me know when you get your website completed.BobThis is a copy of Derek’s original post. (Thanks, Derek, for the original post!)Hey Bob,The way I link to my songs on my Taxi page is as follows. Use this as the templatehttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=xxxxxx&stream=trueGo to your Taxi hosting page. Put the mouse pointer over the play button of the song you want to link to. On the bottom left of the page you'll see something like ..........('/stream/xxxxxx/......of course xxxxxx is a six digit number. Take this number and substitute it into the xxxxxx of the template above and you should be all set. Maybe there's a better way but that's how I do it. HTH.Derek
