On Lyric Sheets: Include other info?

Hi, everyoneI just joined Taxi, and I love the helpfulness of this forum!Just one practical question (so far):When you upload lyrics electronically, are you supposed to include your TAXI member #, and TAXI listing number?--as you do when you send them by mail? And, do you include anything else on the lyric sheet, like address, email, etc?Do most people send by mail or upload?Thanks in advance,Renee

Hi and welcome renee.In the lyrics sheet I only include the writer(s) full name. As you must be logged in to upload your tracks/lyrics, they (taxi) will know whose track is that. So you don’t need to include your member number. BTW, I haven’t used my member # yet.look forward to see you around!

Thanks, guys.Does it make sense to add address, email, etc... to a lyric sheet---Or does TAXI take care of that if they forward it?Oh, one more thing---do you print out the length of your recorded song, eg 3:15. If so, where on the lyric sheet?Thanks, again!Renee

Taxi include your contact information on the forwarded material. Make sure you provided the correct contact information!!! On the lysirc sheet i only include the writer name. I don't know if i we need to include the performer. I use to submit instrumentals.You might also find some Question and Answers on this link:http://www.taxi.com/about.html

Once ago i submited a song that they wasnt able to play; they call me to tell me. I think that if there is something wrong on your submition, they would let you know.Regards.....

The only thing I include on lyric sheets are the lyrics and the writers. Taxi has the rest of the information.One thing I would recommend is to make sure the email that Taxi has now is an email you will have for many years. Because you could be contacted by a listing client as much as one to two years after your forward... whether or not you are still a Taxi member. You'd hate to have that email bounce, eh?
