Modern Hybrids

Post by crs7string » Sat Jan 31, 2009 1:57 pm

Got the news on two forwards for:MODERN, HYBRID ELECTRONIC/ORCHESTRAL INSTRUMENTALS are needed by an established Music Licensing company who provides content for major clients including Toyota, AOL, Google, Visa, Xbox, Adidas and more. They'll want to hear mid to uptempos for this one - no ambient or chill-out tracks, please! High energy and an engaging blend of Electronica and Orchestral elements will be crucial for this one. Solid performances/production and excellent recordings will be necessary - recordings need to be Broadcast Quality. Please submit 1-3 original instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than January 19, 2009. TAXI #Y090119INHere are the tracks:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... m=trueThis makes a total of seven forwards for January.I've mentioned this before, I took a "shotgun" approach to the listings in the past. Around the time of the Rally I began shifting focus to "a rifle approach" I'm trying to focus a little more diligently on quality and securing forwards to new libraries with whom I don't currently have a relationship.Several of the forwards this year are to new business opportunities.Chuck

Hey Chuck, nice work. Congrats! The electronica aspect of this type of hybrid listing is always troublesome for me. I'm hoping to get a little better at it this year. Thanks for the inspiration.Steve
