Bio's

Post by cwilhelmson » Sat Jun 14, 2008 10:20 am

Hi Everybody,This is my first time posting on Taxi. I've never done a bio before and I'm not sure what to put in it. I've had a couple of forwards and need to put a better bio together. Any pointers out there? Thanks,Curt W L.O.B.

Keep track of how many forwards you get and put those in. Keep track of songs that get picked up and put those in. Put how many myspace friends you have. Put performances given and songs written...both their names and dates completed. Include awards such as top ten on music websites such as broadjam etc... Include articles you've written related to music.

There are some good pointers on www.arielpublicity.com. If you get the framework down, then fill in the blanks, you'll know what you have left to ellaborate on.

the interview on the taxi page asks some good questions you can use in your bio (i.e. describe your music, what makes it unique, and list musical influences)
