A Big Hello and Introduction

Post by mullen » Wed May 28, 2008 6:34 pm

Hi there,Let me start by saying, this forum is dynamite! I am astounded by the level of support, commitment and respect that you show each other. My name is Andrew, I am from a small town in Australia called Yackandandah - if you can incorporate that name into a song, then you get massive points - the one song it does fit in is "Sweet Home Yack-an-dan-dah, where the skies are so blue...." – hmmmmI am currently living in Sydney, which is not so melodic! I have been loitering on this forum for a while now, and my contribution is long overdue. I will be joining TAXI next month in and I am very excited to be a part of this community. My goal is to become a respected songwriter. I have played guitar for as long as I can remember – but that doesn’t say much as although I am 30, I have trouble remembering to put on pants – ha! – don’t worry, I am wearing them now!!!I use my various guitars, Pro Tools, Axiom 49 and M-Audio Firewire 410 – I am forever learning, forever getting frustrated and sometimes happy!Anyway, enough ranting I am looking forward in reviewing your posts and helping out in anyway I can. Feel free to have a listen to some songs I did a few years ago at:http://www.myspace.com/andrewmullenmusicPeacePS. I don’t really have a pants problem, more like a humor problem!

Hello Mullen,I joined Taxi April 11, just over a month ago. Although I can't stop in as much as I'd like, I have been thrilled with the level of critique I've received, have had a couple of forwards, but most importantly, I have met and am working with some very talented musicians. This is a great place to learn and to find encouragement and support. Welcome! I really liked your songs, especially "She."Lqrose
