MY FIRST FORWARD, TIMES 2!!!!

I have been a member since october 2008 so I am still very new here. I've since sent in songs for a few listings, and have received all returns. I could feel my confidence in my writing ability quickly dissolving. My last return I received on christmas eve which really sucked due to the timing. And then, like as if the sun came out from behind the clouds, "Congratulations, you've been forwarded." That email really brightened my mood and sent my confidence right back to where I need it to be. I had both songs I sent "Rx airlines" and "Solanum" get forwarded on the "current and commercial hard rock songs" listing.I realize getting forwarded is only the first part of the process, but when you read stories about members who are dealing with getting forwarded consistently but not getting deals, it makes not even getting forwards that much more devastating. As a musician I am always wondering what people think of my songs, so having someone in the business feel confident it is good enough, that is definitely a compliment to me. Hope to add to the success stories soon!!! Congrats man I understand how you feel I knew that my music is good but when you receive that return it like a slap in the face. So when that Forward come in you almost cant believe it but you know that it is real that someone gets and understand what you are trying to do with your music and that it is the main key is that you want to reach people with your music and hope and pray that what you are doing is that folks get it!Keep plugging at it man good things are about to come and thats what we have to keep telling ourselves!JPBe BlessedI rock with one name!

I can tell you from experience that it wont be your last return or foward. I really do feel ya but dont let it get you down...maybe the track was good but it wasnt what they were looking for it happens to every taxi member...just stay at it!!
