Hello, and demos

Post by jamesdevlin » Tue Jan 15, 2008 3:12 am

Hello allGreetings from N.Ireland.I'm new to Taxi, and even newer to the forum. Have put around ten songs into four submissions in my first month. No news yet!Any advice on this...if a listing is for a female artist seeking songs, would I be at a big disadvantage using male vocals on the demo? Dev

Hi Dev, and welcome to the forum!Quote:Any advice on this...if a listing is for a female artist seeking songs, would I be at a big disadvantage using male vocals on the demo?Yes you would. It´s harder to get the song forwarded (if not even impossible, depends on the listing). HTH (Hope this helps)- JH

Greetings Dev-- Good luck with your submissions. I've been a member for a year and two months, and I still get anxious waiting for submission reviews, and then there is the waiting for a contact after a forward. The best remedy I've found is to get busy on new material for more submissions. Welcome to the Taxi forums--
