Hi guys,new here. I joined about 7 weeks ago, and I'm happy to report that my second submission was forwarded. Interestingly enough, not to the listing I'd originally written it for (dramatic/orch) but to my "plan B" (orch/LOTR). Don't really know what that's worth, but I take it as a good sign. Thanks for the kind words. I've seen in other posts that forwards without any follow up are quite frequent, but still, an early success is a big morale booster. Oh, and since it apparently is customary around here, I'd like to thank listener 115 for liking my stuff enough to forward it.

The second one is the thing that gets most people hung up. For me, the process of "discovering" the usefulness of my own music through targeting the listings (what IS my music really), that's what really made the difference and when things started heading in the right direction.Anyway, welcome and congratulations.
