Hey, Dax.As I mentioned in my PM, I have detailed notes at home I took while I was listening to your CD after the Rally, and I'll send them to you later. But while I'm here, I can tell you that #1) MY favorite was "...Chagrin", and yet I have to agree with what Steve said about the kid's voice. CUTE, no doubt, but unnecessary...almost to the point of distraction. By the time they were over, I had forgotten all the things about the song itself I had enjoyed. I know and totally understand how much a father wants his daughter to be part of his life (and I'm saying that because I'm guessing she was the voice), but here it gets in the way of a potentially terrific song, and I know from personal experience that we can NOT afford to make those sorts of emotional choices over SMART musical choices.More later, kiddo, by PM.Remember your mantra (mine, too, although I keep forgetting to repeat it to myself every morning): "write, submit, repeat".Ted

Dax - I have to say first that your voice is really good on these tunes. But I have to agree with Steve that the music beds aren't in sync with the emotion and lyrics - although the instruments are played well and what they are playing is thought out well, the music tracks are way to "happy" or "bouncy" sounding, where I would have edgier instrumentation / playing. IMHO. As far as genre, I'd say singer/songwriter. I especially liked "Memorize my love" - nice job!
