Happy Hanukkah

Post by anne » Sun Dec 09, 2007 12:24 pm

Wow, a really good friend of mine just called and invited me over for a Hanukkah celebration tonight - this is so cool since I've never learned much about faiths other than my own. Anyway, I'm just poking my head out of my sheet rock mud covered studio I'm in right now, and wishing everyone a really great holiday season!Peace - Anne

Hi Anne- I hope they sing/play some of the great music! In Vancouver I belonged to the Jewish Folk Choir for two or three years & I loved the music for Hanukkah & Seder.Happy Hanukkah!

Wow, not only was this my first invitation to a Hanukkah celebration, but I actually was given a present as well. These friends are really great people that I truly treasure having met. Oh, and we did sing, but they were definitely not traditional songs - Yellow Submarine and many other classics.Studio update: Tomorrow is hopefully the last day of major sanding in the new digs. A first coat of primer will show up any details we miss. With any luck, I'll be moving gear in by next weekend!

I know how happy you'll be to have your own space to create."We all live in a Kosher Submarine, a Kosher Submarine, a...." the classics never die.
