Hard to look at...anyone else??

This forum is great but it bothers my eyes. Better if it were a lighter background. I think..

Hi Salmonsound! Cool name, what does it signify? Mine comes from my middle name - Rayne. (I chose "Audiorayne" because "Musicrayne" didn't seem to flow as nicely )Is it the yellow on black that's hard on the eyes? I like it, except that it stands out a lot on my day job computer screen... uh oh. -AR

I think it looks good... a good use of the Taxi yellow.

Well, yeah, the yellow bands are at the top and bottom. I was just talking about the overall color scheme. The grey behind the text is cool.

I have no problem with it. In fact, I like it. I do have problems with low-contrast settings (one of my co-workers works with blue text on black background - ouch!), but this is very easy to read, and the overall look is really uncluttered.I haven't been contributing much on the other threads because I feel like I have so much to learn before I can make any useful comments on the music side, but I've been on lots of boards and this is one of the easiest for me to read.

I don't have any problems with the color scheme and print on the backgrounds. I've never had a problem reading the print.Cisco

All good suggestions... Are you still having troubles, salmonsound? I don't know if you are using your computer in a darker room, but that will cause a little more eye strain too. As for me, I like the look of these boards, and it works fine for me. No trouble seeing (at least not here!), and I second the love of the TAXI colors! Raags
