Wow,We had the pleasure of opening up for David Olney (accompanied by Sergio Webb) over the weekend.He was incredible. I had not know about David's music until the week before the show (he has been a part of the Nashville scene for the last 35 years, and been covered by Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Del McCoury, Lonnie Brooks and many others)The combination of the songwriting and the performance was amazing.If you never heard of him, check him out. If you have...why didn't you tell me about him before Roban extra bonus, got to see Chris Smither and Cat Power recently, with the Avett Brothers coming to town in a few weeks. We don't always get the smaller tours down here in Fla, so these have been a pleasant suprise.

Wow, now that is something opening up for David Olney. I was doing a search one night, and I came across a website about him. He's one of the best songwriters and performers to ever come out of Nashville as you say.Man, I miss so many good posts when I'm not around this place all the time.Congrats on being able to open up for him, Rob. You certainly have my kudos for that.

Thanks Chits, The best part was how nice both David and Sergio were. They actually rushed back from dinner (after sound check) to make sure they were back in time to see our set.
