I personally don't remember ever seeing a listing for a lyricist. You're best bet is to call them up and ask. They will not take your money for a membership if they can't help you.

Hi steve, I've been a Taxi member for 11 years and I don't remember ever seeing a lyricist/lyrics only listing. Of course there are plenty of songwriters/composers/musicians on this forum who would love to co-write with a really excellent lyricist...so that would really be the way to go.

I remember seeing a lyricist listing once...genre must have been Country. I´m not sure though

Hi Steve,I am primarily a lyricist and can tell you that you will be hard pressed to get anywhere in this business unless you get yourself a musical collaborator for you lyrics. There are many melody writers out there in need of good lyrics for their songs.I have been a long time collaborator with Matto from the forum and can tell you that when you get that good combination it can lead to very good songwriting.Post a few lyrics and don't be afraid to ask for advice. Best of luck,Cisco
