Hey Casey,I've said before, but you don't sing nearly as bad as you let on Courage isn't always a virtue. It has to be tempered with good sense I could have the courage to try and play the guitar and sing for an open mic... but hopefully I would have the sense to realize I don't play the guitar. Actually, I can play many guitar chords. Just not in a row Aub

I was just getting up the nerve to post my own version of a song, something I've never done before. Actually, it's the first time I ever publically posted my own singing of a song... It was an exercise in getting over my fears... I don't think I'll keep that link active for very long... BTW, to folks who are new and don't know me... if you are a non-performer like me and want to know how good your songs can sound in the right hands, contrast what you hear at the link up top with:http://www.broadjam.com/transmit/transm ... bndsq=1Dan Marfisi works miracles with my songs... Casey

lol... no Casey. I know you have good sense... and great taste in friends Aubbtw-- I wouldn't be so hesitant of the link. I've posted some pretty raw stuff on here. I think it's both strangely cathartic and helpful for those who are vicariously picking up tips and improving as we all progress. And yes, I just figured out how to use a thesaurus

And yes, I just figured out how to use a thesaurus I modified my last post to link to the final produced version. This should help all the non-performers out there know how good their songs can sound with the right demo service... BEFORE:http://www.broadjam.com/transmit/transm ... =1Actually the version I gave Dan a few years back was MUCH rougher...

Casey - cool song. Wrong key for you. Songs are like shoes - you have to get them to fit. You also have to sing them so many times that they feel smooth and comfortable. I think you have a sweet voice - I heard it when we were jamming at the Rally & you were singing harmony with me. I prescribe Steven Memel's breakout classes at next year's Rally - he's great & I agree with everything he says.H

I might not agree but how could I argue with an experienced vocal coach such as yourself? ... I guess I'll have to come up to BC one day for some lessons... My vocal range goes from about the open D string to the open high E string... Oh, and that wasn't harmony I was singing at the rally, LOL... It was me trying to keep on melody... Casey
