I am a vocal coach. I teach a lot of kids, they are fun. Many of my older students say I'm their life coach/mentor, I consistantly push 'em past their "limit" and make them believe in themselves. And sometimes I even follow my own advice;PxoxoxoJVBhttp://www.myspace.com/ottosdaughter

Greetings!Wow, I love the variety of day gigs! I have found some common ground with some of you...1. I have been a private investigator for the better part of 25 years...2. I am a freelance producer, working in both audio and video production...3. I am a sound engineer for both the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota Vikings...4. I am a freelance musician, playing for several church worship teams...5. I own five rental properties...6. Last, but certainly not least, i am a father of three wonderful teens...!I think i just figured out why I don't have time for writing...!!!Blessings,

I'm a computer network engineer and tech support person. I work with libraries in a 10 county region in Western WI. I really like my "Day Job" and have good pay with great benifits. State Retirement, Full Health and Dental. The benifit package itself is worth about 20K a year. I've been here for almost 7 years and before that I worked at the University, so my 3 years there transfer to where I'm at now.I would have to be making a ton of money on music for me to even consider leaving my day job.

Quote:I teach and play guitar. After almost 25 years of doing so I'm dedicating more of my time to composing and recording. My kids are finally on their own so now is a good time for me to pursue this. That's cool. I'm with you on the kids. One's on her way out the door to college. I've got four more with the other one. Cool about the guitar.....you got links? I'd like to hear!

Hmmm... day job. Had a band once called Day Job Voodoo, but the voodoo didn't work Other than forum poster, I am also the audio engineer/producer for an ad agency -- though it's more of a day and night job. Got home at 5:30am last night/morning and was back at 9:30am going strong ever since -- hmmm... my job is kind of like the Rally all the time (without all the dots and mentors and stuff )Aub

Hi, I teach guitar lessons. This doesn't mean I am the best guitarist on the planet, just that I can work with people and help them reach their goals. I enjoy what I do as it also gives me time to write, record, etc...and remember, Butch Harmon (or is it Hank Haney currently?) still can't beat Tiger on the golf course, he simply knows what to tell Tiger to improve.Cheers!
