Finally a forward (sweeeet)

Post by acousticeel » Wed Dec 17, 2008 1:44 pm

I submitted 3 songs to this listing - CURRENT-SOUNDING ROCK SONGS IN ALL STYLES, ranging from Modern Rock to Pop Rock to Hard Rock, are needed by a Music Publisher with tons of Film/TV placements. This company has fantastic relationships with music supervisors for TV shows/films on ABC, NBC, the CW, HBO, Disney, MGM, Sony, Fox, Paramount plus many others, and has already signed a dozen TAXI writers. You can think in the very wide range of Matchbox Twenty, Goo Goo Dolls, Nickelback, Evanescence, Linkin Park, P.O.D., Oasis, Muse, Radiohead, etc. As you can see, the range is hugely varied here and the approaches you submit will be considered accordingly. The bottom line is that the songs need to sound radio-ready and the performances/recordings need to be excellent! Male or female vocals are fine for this one. No profanity or uncleared samples, please, and Broadcast Quality is required (excellent home recordings should be just fine). Please submit one to three songs online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received by November 19, 2008. TAXI #S081119RKOne of them got a "forward". Here's the link if you're interestedWash It All Away - http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=true First time for a forward. Hope it's not the last...... Thanks to screener 162 for putting it through as well.Jim

I guess that means I like it, huh? First forwards are really special. I share your enthusiasm. Good luck on many more! Super Mega-Congrats,Allen

This song is major-good Jim...congratulations on creating it, and having it recognized with the forward. I like the tempo mini-meltdown you pulled off at the end where you made it appear to fall apart...perfect vibe.I'm with Allen...good luck getting this (and your other tracks) forwarded again and again.Great song!!

Nothing like that first one...Way to go.
