Sitting here with Anne, liamkelly, aubdelane, and about 300 more of the happiest, friendliest people you can possibly imagine. (Our little bunch is among the first 50-75 in line. ) The registration computers open up in about half an hour. Morning!Here I am in an internet cafe a block away from Hotel Rally... I didn't stay up late last night, so missed all your friends having a few at the bar... On my way to my first event in a little while-- it will be a class on making better melodies... I met so many cool people already. One of the really cool parts of coming here is beyond the A&R, advice, mentoring, etc. (all which are great)... It's meeting so many people just like you-- artists and musicians, all at different points in their journey... Many of those connections will be at least as valuable as everything else here...Well, got to go... Need to ensure a seat at my first event... Casey

Hey all...Just stopping by to say hi... Everyone should do this at least once... On my way downstairs to meet some boardies in the lobby for dinner... Yesterday I was playing Jumping Jack Flash on my guitar in the lobby. Someone came over and video'd me... Of course, wouldn't you know it, at a critical time I hit a bad chord... yuck...
