Vampire Weekend
Hey Guys,This was a cool experiment. I usually do the rock/pop side of things, but wanted to take on a challenge.I took this listing, listened to some Vampire Weekend and tried to cope the feel, production, instrumentation, and even the vocal performance (I would normally not sing this way)ROCK/INDIE POP SONGS that specifically sound like Vampire Weekend are wanted by an established Independent Music Publisher who has an immediate need for songs that sound very similar to the referenced artist. You don’t need to try to create a soundalike to any specific song, but the approach and tone should be right in line with Vampire Weekend’s material and sound. Overall, great performances and solid songs will make the difference for this one. It is important that these songs be Broadcast Quality, though great home recordings should be just fine. The President of the company will be screening these submissions himself, so be sure to send in your very best material! For this one, he’ll split the license fee with you 50/50 and he doesn’t take any publishing. Got the forward today and the experiment was a success. Now on to Metal Polkas!(and thanks to TAXI...for getting me to branch out a tad!) http://www.taximusic.com/stream/187913/ ... h%20Me.mp3(if link does not work, try it a couple times...that's what happened to me...)

BYou talk about creative.Loved that timing.I hear a slight Beatles influence and I think the feel could work as a sixties possibility.I know, cause that is when I was in highschool (1962-1966)CongratsPaul
