2 for 2 for Sports Instrumentals

Post by bigbluebarry » Wed Dec 10, 2008 8:55 am

Here's the listing:HIGH ACTION/SPORTS INSTRUMENTALS for various Film/TV placements are wanted by a very successful Production Music Library who has placements with ABC, CBS, NBC, WB, Disney, Discovery, Lifetime, Fox, USA and more. These instrumentals can be in a variety of styles, but they must sound current and contemporary. You'll want to think of sports highlights, exciting features of extreme sports, adrenaline-pumping advertisements, etc. If you take an orchestral approach here, it's suggested that it be blended with current-sounding instruments with "edge". These tracks need to be compelling dynamically, without a lot of motive/melodic repetition. Variation and momentum/build will be key for this one! Broadcast quality is necessary, though excellent home recordings should be fine. Please submit 1-3 Instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than November 20, 2008. Very F&%$ing nice! The sound is really polished. I still have so much to learn about engineering. And I'm a big fan of the style and you really got it down. I'd say good luck, but you don't really need it. You'll do just fine.B

thanks everyone! I'm looking forward to the eXtreme sports listing that's coming up in a couple of weeks. Got some different tracks to submit to that one! Been working on a co-write with a fellow forum member (Audiorayne) for a hard rock vocal listing that's due next week, can't wait to post it once it's done! I spent the last couple of months only writing southern gospel, praise and worship and tween rock, so needless to say it's been nice to let the guitars growl a bit again - Big Blue
