Hey Marc! We did it! Rock Instrumental
Just before the whistle blew on this listing, our very own Marc Blackwell put some 4th quarter guitar solo's overtop of my bed track. He saved the game! One Minute Penalty (I had to click twice to get it to launch):http://www.taximusic.com/stream/184793/ ... nalty.mp3I received an honorable mention for the drum breakdown...yeah baby! You better bet I'm going to sew THAT patch on my jean jacket. MODERN ROCK/HARD ROCK INSTRUMENTALS are wanted by a very successful Production Music Library who has placements with ABC, CBS, NBC, WB, Disney, Discovery, Lifetime, Fox, USA, etc. (to name just a few). It's vital that the tracks have a lot of variation and dynamic shifts, with momentum and build. You'll want to focus on high energy, uptempo tracks with a clear forward movement and compelling dynamics. A current, radio-ready tone is essential for this one! You can submit tracks that range between 1-4 minutes in length and be sure there are NO VOCALS on these tracks. Recording & production needs to be really great and Broadcast quality is necessary - excellent home recordings should be fine. Please submit 1-3 instrumental tracks online or per CD. All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than November 11, 2008. TAXI #S081111RK
Earplugs may be required for anyone over the age of cool.

Re: Hey Marc! We did it! Rock Instrumental
Thanks everyone! I'm also super-glad to get the Taxi link to work...I don't have to retire the pocket protector after all.Steve & Dave...having a capitol letter "ROCKING TRACK" from you is awesome. Ya Bill...a call...any call...will be a big party for me. I went 1 for 3 on this listing....screener said they liked them all, but all were too similar (guilty, your honor).Dave & Al...I defaulted to my normal genre here, it was really nice to see those listings come around.Don't worry Marc...keep those other tunes handy in case "the call" includes the question "ah, got any more of that stuff dude?"Thanks Mr. Flat! I have this chair reserved here for you. It's a sturdy, older wooden model, perfect balance for throwing....I-Man...every time I try to answer the phone they say "Is this Ibanez?!?" They're gonna get to me after the ink dries on your contract dude...keep leadin' the way! That's my new "I-boy" bass on this track. I can't believe I put up with that old piece of firewood until May of this year (Thanks to BillG for helping me make the plunge...and now he's sending me links to my next Ax...hehehe )OK...back to the cave for me.
