My first forward!

Post by aldicicco » Fri Nov 28, 2008 8:29 am

I guess there's a lot of interest in "corporate edgy" and quite a few forwards for this listing Congrats everyone!I was concerned about being too over the top, but I remember a producer at the Rally saying that quirky can be good too. www.taxi.com/aldiciccoTWISTYBest wishes,Al

Thanks everyone for your replies!Fog - I've got some more quirky stuff up my sleave. Just need the right listings!Jeff - Thanks for checking out my other tunes. I'm glad you liked them. And - I'm happy to meet you!Orest - ditto, ditto and ditto!Derek - Thanks for giving Twisty a listen. Do you think an accordion could have worked?Suz - remember our accordion chat a while back? There's a tune called Le Ragazze di Abruzze on my page. Check it out when you have a minute. And- I appreciate your welcome to "Quirky Land"! GB - Thanks for your feedback too!Best wishes,Al

Al,Cool tune!! I can see why it got forwarded. I love the bass line, that half step riff is very cool. Excellent writing. Congrats on your first forward, may it be the first of many! This is a great example of what I call playing to the strengths of your workstation and sound libraries. You're not trying to do emulations, you're picking cool combinations of sounds that sound great and are evocative without sounding canned. Way to go!!! Write more stuff like this!!Cheers!!!Mazz
