I've got bills to pay, work to do, lounging about to concentrate on and a whole bunch of other unnecessary stuff. I haven't got time to say hello to anyone. Humph! Hello Jimmy. I'm gonna have to keep making sure you are not Jimi Welcome to the land at the edge of sanity.

Sorry, I never acknowledge newbies. But if I did, I'd probably say something like, "Hi, welcome to the boards. Feel free to offer your opinion, a question, or even a good joke."But, again.... you would never catch me doing that.... ever. Hope to see you around.

Hope to see you around.I usually wait until they have asked for opinion's on three or four songs of their own and then attack them because they are too selfish to listen to anybody else's work. But that hasn't happenend lately which explains why I have been so sweet and lovely.

One of the biggest parts of being successful in anything is how you market yourself/how other people perceive you. If you truly feel this way, you should put a better spin on it, like "I'm just starting out", or "I'm learning a lot"... and then do something to improve your skills. Z

Re: Hello
Welcome, Jimmy!I'm just coming up on 9 months on Taxi and I have to tell you its been great. People are pretty honest and helpful. I just got back into writing and recording after almost 20 years of not touching an instrument and the assistance from the other Taxi members has been really great. Congrats on joining - it is a great move. Anne
