Quote:Quote:wow, this is great. I just signed up for it. It does appear to have both Dispatch and Regular listings. There is an option for critique for TAXI submissions but I see no option for custom critiques alone.I think that a CD via snail mail is your only option for custom critiques.I can see the link to get custom critiques. I followed it and it apprears to be designed to function properly. I'm very interested in this new development. The custom link that I chose for myself does not work unless I am logged in. I'm looking forward to seeing an announcement that the Beta testing is over and everything is ready to use. If all goes well, next year I'll take apply the $50.00 I saved by dropping Broadjam toward a Dispatch membership.-Allen

yes you are correct, after you log in, on the right column there is a link for custom critiqe. The charge is $10. I put one in, so I will see how it goes. good or bad, I have to say this was a fantastic improvement feature for TAXI, and on top of that I have had various issues on listening to my songs from the Broadjam site. Once the songs cleared on this new taxi music site, I clicked the play link and they played perfectly from start to finish as if from my own computer. Great job on that one TAXI and all involved, and thanks to the posters here who helped bring it to better attention. thanks...andy

Guess I'll head over there and check things out

Hehee...those of you who have been asking about online custom critiques etc and got some, uhm, "cryptic" answers from me...now you know what I was hinting at. There are a number of randomly picked beta testers testing this new concept/site as we speak (I'm one of them, that's why I knew about this), but we were sworn to secrecy. So...let's try to keep this on the downlow for now by not setting this thread "on fire" or it might get deleted...in other words: read...take the any actions you might choose ( ), but don't reply (if you can contain your excitement ).Once the beta stage is over this will supposedly be "phased in" in stages to make sure the system won't be overwhelmed.I'm sure an official announcement will be forthcoming before too long, for now it appears they're just informing people whose broadjam account comes up for renewal...so they don't have to spend money unnecessarily .matto

it looks like if I want to stay only in taxi-land i will have to pay for hosting AND re-create my hosted account information in taximusic. Any plans to migrate account information to the taximusic hosted account? Will this new service host my domain or only an artist page for me? I have called before and not gotten a straight answer, hopefully I can get that through here.I do like some of the other stuff on broadjam though, the fan stuff, hosted domain, contests etc. Maybe I will just stick with both... especially since I jsut got herecheers!

ok, got the custom critique back. Really well thought out and helpful information. Definitely a tool to keep.
