Any voting NARAS members here?

I just sent in an application... I believe I qualify, but I'm curious what happens next! Can any current members lend some insight?

Hi zircon - I joined in 2005 - even though I submitted my All Music Guide listings, I got lost in the shuffle. Didn't even receive my membership card until August of 2006. Then, they announced they accepted digital distribution as credible criteria for voting qualifications. So, I printed out 25 pages of documentation - from my BMI repertoire pages spanning 20+ years, to my AMG listings, to our CD Baby, EarBuzz, First Avenue of Sound CD sales pages, plus a handful of digi-distribution pages.I just now received my first Grammy ballot, although I missed the nomination and first round voting cycles.So, a year and a half later, I'm finally a fully bonafide voting member of NARAS. Even received my NAMM credentials through them.I hope your journey is a bit easier.Happy new year!
