Didn’t know where else to post this. It has to do with forwards. When you are forwarded, you get a standard email response - Listing Results:===========================================Dear Joe, Congratulations! The following song was forwarded to Dispatch listing #DXX---XJZYour Song TitleThe company is blah blah blahSincerely,Your friends at TAXI DispatchThis is post only mailing from TAXI.Please do not attempt to respond to this message============================================In order to help Taxi continuously improve their service to us, I suggest they could also include the company’s contact information such as phone number, email address, mailing address and maybe even a POC. I often Google said company to find out more about them. Some are easy to find while others are not so easy or apparently don’t want to be found. Once you have been forwarded though it seems like Taxi has provided the service for which we pay them. They have broken the ice. So why not include the contact info as well? Most companies I have successfully contacted on my own after having been forwarded are eager to hear more of my material, which I then send them on my own.

Re: Continuous Improvement – what a concept!
Unfortunately not everybody is as professional as you are . Taxi actually used to provide this information...until some psycho members called A&R people after hours and berated and even threatened them for not getting back to them...So unfortunately Taxi had to stop doing that. This world is full of crazy people, and many of them seem to be musicians .Yes you can google companies, but you'll only find what they are willing to share publicly, and Taxi won't be responsible for what you find. Plus if it's a label you usually won't get past the front desk since you don't know who the A&R person is who ran the listing. So it's pretty good protection from the crazies.Sad that this is necessary...

matto, silly me. I never thought of that. I guess I'm naive. I just thought it would be a bit of a help to the rest of us non-crazies. I didn't know that Taxi used to provide that info and had to stop. Thanks. Boy isn't it a bummer that the crazies make life more difficult for everybody?
