One of my favorite songs

Post by Casey H » Sat Sep 16, 2006 3:59 am

OK, not sure where this post belongs. I definitely DO NOT consider this a guilty pleasure. One of my favorite songs in the universe is "Rendezvous", the Springsteen song, as recorded by The Greg Khin Band. I particularly love the way the last verse is sung higher- same chord but slightly different melody structure. (i.e. early verses start on the note "A", but the last verse on F#).Forgetting the technical details, I just can't get enough of this track! Casey

One of mine is The Candle Song by Stan Rogers

"In My Room" by Brian Wilson. Not for just the great harmonies, but for the lyrical sensitivity. Wilson and Dylan really influenced John Lennon to reach deeper into his emotions. Wonderful track.Ern
