New Thread: Ask about companies PRIVATELY

Hey all I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread whereby people post the names of companies they have been offered deals from to see what other people know. This comes up on the boards all the time. It's especially uncomfortable when the feedback on a company is negative.However, I (and maybe some of you) are not thrilled with giving this kind of feedback in a public forum . IMHO it can be bad style and you never know who is reading this or hitting it on Google.So here's my idea. Post your questions about specific companies here and FOLKS CAN RESPOND BY PM, not on the forum.Obviously, this is just a suggestion. Whaddaya all think Casey

Casey, I hope you're going to be a good boy, and not use this as a method for trolling for names and numbers like some unscrupulous people have done in the past The companies might get testy if their writers are giving out their contact info!!

I had nothing but good intentions ... I see a lot of posts where people ask about specific companies and thought it might not be good to post all that publicly.... Trolling for names??? No reason for ME to create a thread to do that, there are zillions of other ways.... If TAXI is concerned about this thread, by all means delete it. (I guess you already would have if you were that concerned).. PS I DIDN'T mean for people to PM me!! I meant that folks who have info should respond to the post by PM-ing the post-er! Casey

I think it's a great idea. It gives people a chance to hear about other people's good/bad experiences without bashing a taxi client publicly
