Matto music?
Hey matto-Hello! This is Andre, a fellow songwriter. I've enjoyed reading and learning from your (and everyone else's) informative posts on these boards since I started contributing to them a couple weeks ago, and I'm anxious to hear some of your thoughts in their musical form.Do you have anything you can share with us that wouldn't violate any contracts you may be under? I can't seem to find any links in your posts or profile.Respectfully,Andre

Try these links guys:MasterSourcehttp://www.mastersource.com/ms_index.htmlClick on "search the catalog", type in my name (Matt Hirt) in the search field. This has some latin and world songs and various underscore/orchestral stuff.Firstcomhttp://www.firstcom.com/launchpage/FirstCom/Enter and put my name in the quick search file.Btw the mp3 quality on that site is what *I* would call poor .Blue Fusehttp://www.bluefusemusic.com/media/You can't search that site by name, but if you click on "rhythm project", I did the entire "Junk Percussion", "Ethnic Rhythms" and "World Groove" CD's, plus most of the "Voice Box" and about half of the "Marches and Cadence". This stuff is very rhythm oriented with little chords or melodies, but there are some pretty cool rhythms, particularly on the "Junk Percussion" and "World Groove".Wild Whirledhttp://www.wildwhirled.com/Click catalog and check scroll to discs 58 (Internatinal Rock and Pop) and 52 (Music Of the Middle East) to hear a montage. This should keep you busy for a while... matto

I agree with Nomi...all of your stuff is top notch, Matt! And you have great versatility.Do you mix all your tracks yourself, or do you work with other mix or mastering engineers before sending off your work?Do you still find yourself placing many songs through Taxi and other such services, or do you rely more on established relationships at this point? Thanks for sharing,Andre

Great sounding stuff matto! You have a good amount of variety too and you do it all well.I'm curious as well as to how much you do in the box vs. how much you're recording live. I assume you play guitar and keys, is that true? Thanks for sharing those links. It's always good to know what to strive for with quality and hear what the competition is doing -Theresa
