does anyone know?

Post by hummingbird » Wed Feb 15, 2006 9:19 pm

Just wondered, if you submitted a song to Taxi thru Broadjam on Feb 10th for a Feb 15th listing deadline... and then uploaded a new version of the song on Feb 18th... which version would the Taxi screener hear?

Matto will probably know for sure but I would think they wont start listening till the 16th at the earliest but if you are near the top of the list FIFO they will hear the old version.Mick.

I asked Taxi staff this self same question and they assured me they listen to the most recent version on your Broadjam site. If you submit through Broadjam then the listener hears the track streamed from broadjam. It does not get sent to them before hand.If the Taxi listener was super keen and listened to your track on the deadline date then they will have heard the old track. If however they listen to it after Feb 18th they will hear the new version.I'm forever uploading newer versions of songs and I too was always wondering what versions my crits were based on.

I haven't been to the Taxi garage, but I assume they go online to Broadjam and hear and see exactly what anyone sees if they go to Broadjam from any computer. Hope they have good speakers or headphones, on my system a CD sounds better than a stream.Nomi
