custom critique
Does anyone out there think we should fast-track custom critiques? The current process takes an extreme amount of time.Seems we could update this process to bring it more in line with the times. What do you think?

Re: custom critique
Hey, I agree. I don't know why a custom critique can't be done through Broadjam or in some way on-line. I have used John Braheny's critique service, he (bless him) also takes 3 or 4 weeks to get back to you. I don't know what the answer is, though!H

Re: custom critique
TAXI told me well over a year ago that they were working on Broadjamming this. Still no sign though. Don't see how it could be so difficult.

Re: custom critique
Hi guys, last time I was over at Taxi Headquarters I brought this up, and Michael told me they were working on doing custom critiques via broadjam and it would be up "soon".So it's something that's coming our way...I'd suggest that everybody who would like to have it sooner rather than later email Taxi asking about it. If there's a lot of demand for this feature, it will be made more of a priority.matto

Re: custom critique
Hi Matto,Glad you chimed in on this! Seeing as you're over at the HQ quite a bit would it be possible for you to mention something else when you're there? I'll owe you yet another beer! It's about the forward/return notifications we receive from TAXI. They are very inconsistent. Dispatch and Y listings never say which screener looked at my stuff either in the emails I receive directly from TAXI or in my online Broadjam account. S listings on the other hand do. I brought this to TAXI's attention over a year ago, pointing out that every notification whether it be forwarded/returned and whether it be D/Y/S should all say what screener listened to it. They agreed and said they'd add it to 'the list of updates' but so far no change. Maybe they forgot!

Hmm...the beers are starting to add up, you better make it to the next Road Rally so I can "cash in"... Actually I make it over to Taxi HQ a lot less than you might think...I will write this down though; never thought of it before but it's a good idea and I think it could be really helpful.

I was wondering the same thing about the Y listings. You'll be drunk at the rally, Matt, since I owe you a couple by now too.

Quote:Hmm...the beers are starting to add up, you better make it to the next Road Rally so I can "cash in"... I don't think you should cash in all in one go dude!! Why?Fast forward 10 months. A bleary eyed, foul mouthed Matto staggers through the foyer of a swanky LA hotel verbally assaulting every male in sight and doing his best Schwarzeneggerian groping impression on anything that looks even remotely female. He then tells Michael Laskow exactly what he thinks of him and flips him the bird. The drunken Matto is physically removed from the premises all the while shouting, "Do you know who I am? I had a song in Mr. and Mrs. Smith". Later his TAXI and BMI memberships are revoked. All the music libraries he has built such good relations with no longer return his calls turning instead to new ubermusic man Mani.Fast forward another 30 years. A haggard, dishevelled and destitute Matto panhandles on the street for change while sleeping nights on Venice Beach. "I had a song on 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' " he says endlessly to whoever will listen. The standard reply? "Get away from me you freak or I'll call the cops".Is this what you want to happen?!

I'm sure the porn industry would accept you in any condition so you can fall back on that
