I got my first email from a library and attached was a contract and a 'talent agreement'. I just wanted to check a couple points out with the seasoned vets around here and don't want to blow a couple hundred $$ on a lawyer just yet. Could I get some similar advice?-BobbyThat sounds similar to what I'm looking at right now. Can I join the bandwagon and get some good advice, please? I know what ya mean re: lawyer...the charges astound me. If it comes to it, then I'll have to (and have been advised to bit the bullet for long term sake, anyway)CheersShanesent you a pm

Could we possibly help other people with this thread and POST some of this great advice instead of sending PMsand emails?

I think it deals with contract specifics of one particular company, and therefore has to remain in PMs. There's a limit to what can be posted on a public forum, especially with regard to sensitive information...On the other hand there's a lot of general information re contracts etc to be found on this forum if you take a look around...

I highly recommend the book "The Permission Seekers Guide Through the Legal Jungle" by Joy Butler (my entertainment attorney). Her info is clear and user friendly. Here's a link:http://www.guidethroughthelegaljungleblog.com/Hugs,Suz
