For my business card, I had my roommate who is a graphic designer help me out. He said a good way to go was with simple on one side, then the info on the other. In my case, I wanted a card for piano/keyboard performance: One side that said piano, another that said keyboards and everything electronic. For some reason I can't upload the other side properly. It's a simpler shot of piano keys with my name scribbled in a cool font on the top right - landscape.
