I love CD Baby. And that's saying something since Derek left. It's still great, still gives you plenty of toys to play with, has digi distribution as well as physical sales. Their cut is dead easy to figure out (they tell you) and everyone goes there to find tunes. I'm jes starting to use reverbnation and I'm not all that impressed, mostly because it seems pretty.....I don't know, indifferent to me. It's got toys and stuff but it's almost like a walmart thing, they don't give a crap if I'm there or not. Cdbaby takes a very personal approach toward their artists. They don't jes tell you you've made a sale, they send you a very excited email and stay in touch with you that way, at your home addy, not jes at their site. Real people answer the phone with actual expertise and care. Who knew it would be so attractive to everyone, but it is. Can't say enough about it. I don't hang on their forums, I jes sell albums through them and I'm pretty dang content jes with that. I don't do a thing, they do it all fo me. Obviously, I should shut up now since I'm clearly a cdb freak.

Arthur, i like cdbaby for distribution and reverbnation for the widgets and fanreach. i'm not familiar with tunecore, but i don't feel like i'm missing out by not being so.

I think Tunecore has a lot going for it for non-physical distribution, (wave of the future, that) CDBaby is great for selling physical CDs if you have fans that demand those, and Tony VanVeen is every bit as passionate as Derek Sivers was-and can cut you a break on manufacturing, since DiscMakers now runs CDBaby. For fan tracking and promoting your musical efforts, I think ReverbNation is tops. None are exclusive, so there's no reason not to use 'em all.

Another vote for CDBaby here. Can't go wrong with all the original and new options they are offering. That and to repeat what someone else said, people actually go to CDBaby to buy music.

Hey Everybody! Thanks a ton for the input. What a great community! Makes me a bit sad I wasn't able to renew this year, but at least I still get to be here with y'all!Well, looks like it's CDBaby by a landslide. Very good points made all around, the one that struck me the most is that people already go to CDBaby to buy music. Funny thing is, I just got some songs up on http://www.reverbnation.com/arthurjamesPlease check out my stuff and get back to me with any feedback. They are all rough demos, but I figured fans of blues/folk/country and good songwriting could hear through the less then stellar production to the gems beneath. Let me know if production issues are so extreme it makes it really difficult to listen to.I'm getting some help putting an actual .com of my own up and it should launch in a few weeks. I'll reconsider then what to do about sales/distributon, but CDBaby is looking better all the time. Thanks again for all the input!Yours in MusicArthur James

Unless I'm mistaken, I believe CDBaby has added a digital download service of it's own now, so you can sell downloads directly through them.
