Congrats! If I were you, I would use that TB drive to stream all of your sounds off of in Logic, as well as saving/recording your audio and project files. It would be best to get it set up out of the box like this before you start doing a lot of work. That will keep you runnnig faster for longer. That is assuming that it is a firewire drive, and not a USB drive.-Steve

Hopefully it's Firewire.

congrats Anj, i really felt you would like it! i've been spending time with that david nahmani book i mentioned on one of your previous threads, and it's making logic a piece of cake for me. i'm so happy about it because working with the pdf manual was not an easy process. nice to know we're kind of at the same place, not in it alone

welcome to the club! I got my first mac two years ago. I was windows guy since version 3.1. Which still was just a GUI for DOS. I make my living supprting windows. After about six months with my first mac I realized what all the fuss was about. I now own 4 macs and will never ever consider using windows again. Except of course when I charge people large sums of money to fix and maintain that heap of shit. The only thing I like about windows now is that it's utter lameness keeps me fed and clothed. B
