Nashville Demo Singers
To any and all who have used demo singers in Nashville:What is an appropriate fee for *just the singer* performing one song, including harmonies? Is $100 in the ballpark, at the top of the scale or just about right?

The ones I have used ranged from $100-$150. The majority falling around $125. Be careful, not all do harmonies so you may wish to check on that before selecting one.

Re: Nashville Demo Singers
I just heard a Nashville demo from someone, it sounded fabulous. Piano, lead vox, & BG's approx $200. 9.5/10 on performance. Absolutely flawless for getting a song's vision on tape!Guess who did the demo? ^^^^^^ Yep, she did.

Re: Nashville Demo Singers
$100-$300 covers one musician for a three-hour block; long enough for most competent professionals to do what you're asking-a real hotshot with a rep can ask for more and get it. Not all shops are union shops, though the better ones tend to be.

Yep, 100 to 200 bucks (for the vocals only) should cover it. I'd highly recommend Jimi's studio...I've done two demoes with her, and I've been very pleased with the results.

I've spent anywhere from $100 - $200 depending on the singer, whether they have a deal, etc. I'm hoping to use someone soon who is $100 lead vocal, $50 extra harmonies.
