Private Messaging Problems

Hi, I'm new to this forum and hope that this is not the wrong place to ask for advice.

I am able to type a private message and after I click on the send button, it says my private message has been sent. Hoewever, on further checking, my private messages are all stored in the Outbox instead of the Sent Folder.

I believe that the messages don't get sent out as I have yet to any receive replies.

Can anyone advise how I can get PM to work properly?

you aren't doing anything wrong.

My sent messages go there too and people eventually respond.

Private Messages stay in the Outbox until they are read. Once read, they go to the Sent folder... At least, that's been my experience.

Feel free to send me a message as a test.

I understand how it works now although I could never have guessed that the sent messages would remain in the Outbox until a reply is received
