Hi all , very new to the forum its only been a few hrs since my account was created , im thinking about joining taxi but still looking at all my options. However .... Im becomming a quick learning curve PT engineer , but something i have come across which maybe someone here may know I've read about Reason 4 in a previous TAXI post and theres alot of great write ups about it , but im looking to take it a step further and use it with PTools 7.4 , From my understaing it uses the Rewire system, which im not having any luck with Protools at all so I guess my First question is is their any difference between M , LE versions of PT7.4 regarding Rewire and has anyone got Reason to work, Ive been able to start the play record , but to get any audio between R4 and PT7.4 is still a no go?? is there any certain steps to check and make sure im doing this correctly?- System -Mac Pro 8 Core 3.2 Ghz or Dell 1721 Mobile Laptop 3.2Ghz. M Audio FTrk Pro USB 2 x 2 with 1 x 1 midi.M Audio Keyboard Controller Oxy 61.Yamaha Motif ES8.Pro Tools 7.43cs3.Reason 4 ( REFILLS R CK! )

You should be able to use Reason thru ReWire on either an Audio track - not set to record, or an aux input. Just make sure that there is an output assigned on the ReWire window and that the mixer in Reason is set up correctly. It generally is pretty easy. I will bet the output in ReWire is not set.Wodinlord
