Re: Put Your Funky Stuff Here!
Anne, very good. I hope you submitted it for the 80s listing also because it sounds more like that era to me, but that's just my opinion. Some of the synth sounds might be a bit "new" for the 70s. Again, just my taste, no complaints on the writing, performance, or production!FunkeeeMazz

imagine if John Williams and Trent Reznor met at Bernard Hermann's for lunch and Brian Eno was the head chef!

Re: Put Your Funky Stuff Here!
Wow - thanks Mazz !I had sent it in on the 70s listing. I saw your response after it was to late for the 80s listing, but I went back and listened to some later stuff and I do see where you could find that it should go there. Thanks for pointing that out!I listened to a lot of 70s era George Clinton while writing this and emulated his synth sounds, and the "no key change" style, and am keeping my fingers crossed that the screener is really familiar with more than the big hits of his. Since he was such a gigantic influence on Prince and many others, and I'm a huge Prince fan, I'm hoping that I didn't go too far to that end of the spectrum. I'd really be happy to get the first forward of my own music on this piece!
