Hey Aim,I have Colossus which is the precursor to Goliath and I really dig it. It looks like they've added some more drums and new Piano as well.I would recommend it as it has a good bunch of really good sounds. It leans much more to traditional instruments so don't expect too much in the area of synth type sounds.Hope this helps.Cisco

Hey Cisco,Thanks for the info... yeah traditional sounds are what I'm looking for as I'm tired of trying to make MIDI sound as realistic as possible and could do with some good sounding horn arrangements etc... I see that it has orchestral sounds too, are they pretty good? and what about the choir sounds?Once again, thank you for the info!Take CareB

Hi Aimusic,Don't have Goliath, but I do have Colossus like Ciscokid, which is excellent. It has good choir sounds - male/female oohs, ahhs etc.Maybe the same ones are carried over to Goliath.Orchestral sounds are great, and again, I would imagine these have been carried over, and added to in Goliath. All the best,Dave.

Looking at the Goliath spec, it says it includes the 32 Gig of content from Colossus, plus a further 8 gig of new stuff. It seems that the extra content relates to atmospheres and morphing.I suppose it depends whether you need that extra content.Must say those samples on the site sound amazing. It'll be some time before I get anything like that sound!Wonder if they'll call the next release Samson!Cheers,Dave.

Might have to wait for the Samson AND Delilah release for that!
