heya people ... my question is if a song is passed on by the listeners for a dispatch or other listing, is it safe to assume they will be fair in jugdeing the same song once again for a new listing or can it be assumed that they will be familiar with it and recall it as an unusable song. I guess what I'm asking is ... can the reviewer switch gears for your song under a new listing? this concerns me as I don't think i need to redo the songs everytime they are passed on ... correct or no?thanks in advance and the best of luck to all of us

All tracks are evaluated only in the context of the listing for which they were submitted. I've had plenty of tracks that weren't forwarded for one listing for one reason or another but were forwarded for others.I've heard some stories to the contrary but I have to believe that unless the reviewers have "musical photographic memories" that they GENERALLY won't really remember with precise detail every song submission they've ever heard from months and years ago. Even if they did, they're screening for the current listing client and that doesn't have any relavence to what the previous listing client wanted. I agree... best of luck to ALL of us. Dave

Re: question about forward reviewers
Have you done reviews of songs on broadjam? Its an excellent way to gain first hand insight to what Taxi reviewers experience... not only from the standpoint of honing your own skills, but understanding your screener critiques... and if someone put a gun to my head and played a song and asked me to say whether I had reviewed it before...... well lets just say all the wit wisdom and humor of my posts would be history..... Re: question about forward reviewers
yes arkjack I have reviewed many many songs on broadjam ... don't know if that was intended as a direct question to me or not .... but it would seem to me that it would be almost impossible to not run across the same songs from time to time as the submitters must be substantially smaller in number than the actual members of broadjam and I am hoping that it wouldn't be the same people trying to be unobjective toward a submitted song after possibly hearing it submitted to a third or a forth or a fifth category within a relatively short period of time. Don't know if I could honestly send on something I didn't like if I had to hear it too often. I'm sure it is nothing but it just popped into my head while I was drinking my absynthe a few nights back
