Question about track file after submission

Post by kazaraki » Sat Jun 20, 2020 6:20 am

Hi, does anyone know if I replace a track that I submitted to a listing with a new track after the deadline passes, will the screener listen to the first track or the new one? Thanks

It depends. When the screener gets to your track before you changed it, he'll listen to the old version. But since all the responses are mailed out together, much later, you'll never know which version he judged.

I've played 'TAXI Roulette' a few times :D I'm sure we all have, when the final final final absolutely final last mix is listened to later and declares itself only the almost final final final absolutely final last mix... you hope the screeners don't work middle of the night or over the weekend and that your really final final final absolutely final last mix is the one they play :D

I remember accidentally trying to remove a track that was pending review and I got a message that the track couldn't be removed until it was reviewed. Does someone know if this is still the case?

I don’t think it is still the case. I’m a brand new member and am still getting used to things, and I accidentally removed a song from my uploads/profile that I had just submitted to a listing, and didn’t get a warning like that.
I’m hoping the submission has its own copy of the file permanently associated to it!

No, you won't see that message now if you will remove a track. It was a thing a while back.
