Thats right Dave, you are the only TAXI member that is not associated with the movie. All the rest of us had something to do with it..whether it be a song, catering, directing, costuming etc.I am sorry you had to learn about it this way. We did not want to hurt your feelings ...we like you and your work very much.....

matto, I hadn't considered that films use libraries too - duh! Way to go man. My computer at home won't play your sound sample (too much security) so I'll have to wait to get to work tomorrow to listen to it.onoffon, I hadn't considered that the movie might just plain old suck too. See, I feel justified in being a worry wart. But even if the worst does happen and the movie bombs and never goes anywhere, I'm still happy to have been paid for a tune. I've had other placements but none with any money involved, until now. I guess the paycheck is what it's all about. Helps cover my last few years of TAXI dues.

Nick,That's great! Don't worry about anything, you are already successful. Who knows how far anything will go? But you already got the deal. Congratulations.Reminds me of my friend Steve Hanan who is a singer/actor. His parents constantly worried about him and didn't consider him successful. Then one day (many years ago now) he got one of the leading roles in the original productions of Cats On Broadway. In his profession, that is considered a pinnacle of success. Yet his parents continued to worry what would happen if it wasn't a hit or even if it was, what would happen when the run closed? Point of the story: appreciate your successes. The critic is never satisfied but we have to give ourselves credit for hard work done and goals achieved.Love,Nomi

I have another acquaintance who used to be one of the guitarists for Frank Sinatra and invented the optical reader. He's 60 and his mother still wants him to find a regular job. Sheesh He was a millionaire at one point in his life from his investments. He lost his shirt when his wife divorced him though and took everything in a very underhanded way when she left with her "producer" boyfriend.Gongchime

I get to sell tickets when it comes to New Mexico, Dave. Maybe you can get the MO conscession. Check out the "ticket seller" listing under "Hard to Classify".
