Hey Roadie... I gave it a listen and the only thing I could figure is maybe the voicings on the synths?? other than that I couldn't tell you. I thought this would be great for TV.hiredgun

I'm sorry you didn't get the forward, that bites. It's an interesting track and well done. I think he might be talking about the bass line, which hints at funk/disco, not electronica/jazz. The Rhodes does make it sound a bit dated. You'll get it next time!

Re: R-MAN GETS THE AXE ON ELCTRO/JAZZ
Maybe this one Jay......maybe.ELECTRONICA SONGS AND INSTRUMENTALS of all styles except House, is sought after by a well-known and widely used Film and TV Music Supervisor to add to his catalog for project considerations. He is particularly open Experimental Electronica but said he will be glad to hear "anything but House". This Supervisor has an outstanding track record, so he is very picky about what he will use. Please do not include any uncleared samples in your tracks. Presentation must sound great with top-notch instrumental and vocal performances (if applicable). Broadcast quality is required (great sounding home recordings are fine). Please submit one to three songs and/or instrumentals online or per CD, include lyrics (if applicable). All submissions will be screened and critiqued by TAXI and must be received no later than Monday, June 29, 2009. TAXI #S090629EL-Kel
